what caused the spike in may 2005 and the big drop in sept?
JM: I reviewed my diaries from May 2005. Turns out that two events caused the spike in word count:
1. I had copied and pasted a couple of long e-mails into certain entries. I had wanted to have the e-mail in there to give some kind of context to events.
2. May 28 to May 30 was the Arden Cup, Chicagoland's Scrabble Tournament. I gave a little summary of all 20 games, in which I finished with a losing record (9-11) but also played my first tourney triple-triple: IDOCRASE through the C.
