you play more games in teh colder months and the spikes post december are due to new game Xmas gifts. June and July are too nice for gaming and you are too busy with school stuff in September, but are burned out on school by October and November so the gaming goes up (also great new release months for games). Am I right?

JM, your dren-sense is correct. Also, I'm on vacation in January - and the school where I work doesn't start up until later that month, allowing me much time to explore Christmas gifts (aka new video games). I'm probably also wearing new Christmas clothes, too.

My July gaming totals have plummeted these last many years largely because that's my busiest month work-wise all year.

Will the Wii - which I'm still saying I'm going to buy - change things?

the stats that wii sports keeps may prove to be your undoing. the daily fitness test as well as the desire to achieve the PRO level and higher in the different games and the earning of medals in the practice rounds will consume much of your time. this is only the game the console comes with - just wait for the 2nd wave of games for the Wii which will make better use of the system and its controls. New 9 hole course record for me ... -8 (that's a birdie on every hole except for one ... or actually an eagle on one and 6 birdies with 2 pars) ... and I hate golf.

i am hoping for a detailed graph on video gaming pre and post wii - the sports games are great but I wish you could see your progress without having to start each game
